SPLASH OF COLORS ON SYROS ISLAND
Alexia and Babis' wedding on Syros was definitely one wedding full of brightness and sparkle and among our favorite for 2017. Good spirits, an effortless ambience and re-visited vintage details were the main elements of this beautiful story of a private union of the couple.
Being the birthplace of Alexia and a loved destination for the couple, the enchanting island of Syros was the ideal location for their wedding. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Orthodox church of Agia Paraskevi whereas the venue was exactly what the couple had dreamnt for their wedding. Greek Orthodox wedding traditions were honored while being elegant, effortless and timeless. The couple welcomed their family and close friends who enjoyed a stunning outdoor ceremony and reception.
The base element behind this wedding was color. We infused color in every little aspect of the decoration, stationery and tableware which gave a feel of freshness and radiance against the whitewashed surroundings of the island.
For the wedding favors, we used 15 different types of flowers in various colors, heights and volumes creating a decoration that was vibrant and at the same time natural. On the tables we placed little vintage bottles again in various shapes and heights whereas wooden lugs filled with flowers where dispersed around the area.
