Emeline & Arthur : A Natural Chic Wedding on Serifos Island
Nestled in the serene beauty of Serifos Island, Emeline and Arthur said "I do" in a setting that perfectly mirrored their vision — simple, intimate, and true to themselves. They dreamed of a wedding that wasn’t overly complicated, one that would be shared only with the people who mattered most.
The journey began with a memorable pre-wedding gathering at the stunning Chrysoloras Winery. As the sun dipped behind the rolling hills, guests were treated to an intimate wine tasting that set the perfect tone for the days ahead, filled with warmth and connection.
The following day, their symbolic ceremony took place at the picturesque amphitheater of Nature Eco Living, a venue surrounded by nature’s embrace. Emeline and Arthur spent the morning preparing at the hotel, soaking in the peaceful surroundings of the lush garden, nestled among pine, eucalyptus, and olive trees. With the soft sound of waves in the distance, it was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows. Emeline, looking effortlessly radiant in a simple yet elegant gown, glowed with happiness as she exchanged promises with Arthur. The ceremony included several meaningful moments : a reading of a religious text by Emeline's mother and Arthur's father touched the hearts of everyone present, a beautiful laïque reading followed, spoken by the witnesses who stood scattered throughout the amphitheater, each delivering their part. The final ritual of the ceremony was the exchange of olive crowns, a timeless symbol of peace and unity, as Emeline and Arthur promised to support and love each other always.
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks on the beach, where a traditional Greek band serenaded the couple and their loved ones. The celebration flowed naturally, filled with love and laughter, as the couple shared their joy with those closest to them.
Later, they hosted a stunning dinner at the Eco Nature Living Garden Lounge. The enchanting beachfront oasis provided a breathtaking setting. Long wooden tables were beautifully decorated with garlands of olive branches and eucalyptus leaves, crafted by florists, and complemented by burlap runners. The minimalist tableware enhanced the rustic elegance. Wedding favors were thoughtfully presented in kraft bags filled with local products, each adorned with a glass evil eye, reflecting the shades of the Aegean Sea. The scene was completed with wooden benches. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, much like the gatherings of large Greek families every Sunday. Guests savored Mediterranean dishes, sharing plates in true communal spirit!
The following morning, a charming brunch was held to bid farewell to guests. It was a final, heartfelt moment to say goodbye, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a weekend filled with joy, love, and connection.
This wedding truly showcased how beauty and love can shine through simplicity, proving that sometimes, the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that honor what truly matters.
To Emeline and Arthur, may your love, like fine wine, grow stronger with each passing year. Best Wishes!
