On the beautiful island of Sifnos, Nina and Jake celebrated their love surrounded by the endless blue of the sea and the warmth of family. A young couple whose story brought together cultures, with the bride’s family rooted in Greece, making the entire celebration feel deeply connected to tradition and place.

The day began in a uniquely personal way: a morning run along the sunlit paths of the island, followed by a gentle yoga session, lovingly organized by the bride’s mother and aunt. These quiet, energizing moments set the tone for a day filled with connection, joy, and family. Before the ceremony, the couple prepared separately, each surrounded by their closest friends and family  all beautifully immortalized by the talented AK3 Fotografia.

It was an experience that everyone could take part in. From the grandma carefully making the bombonieres by hand, to the bridesmaids and groomsmen standing beside the couple throughout the celebration, every detail reflected the love and effort of those involved. The bridesmaids wore matching blue dresses and carried identical bouquets adorned with delicate baby’s breath, perfectly complementing the bride’s blue shoes and creating a harmonious palette throughout the day.

During the ceremony, different customs came together beautifully: the Jewish ritual of breaking the glass, the joyful rice toss as the couple walked back down the aisle, and the Greek wedding crowns. The officiant of the ceremony also curated a selection of three vintage wines from the United States, chosen to celebrate love and the beginning of Nina and Jake’s new life together.

The celebration took place at Lazarou Beach Venue, a stunning open-air setting that blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape, with the Aegean Sea stretching endlessly in the background. Local ceramic vases from Sifnos, one of the island’s specialties, were placed on the tables and filled with a delicate mix of baby’s breath and olive branches. These same vases also indicated the seating for each guest, with names handwritten directly on them. Blue-and-white table runners with mosaic patterns echoed the colors of the Cyclades and tied the entire setting together.

In a playful nod to the couple’s love for Tavli, several boards were placed around the space for guests to play freely, while each guest received a pair of dice as a small gift.

The décor was perfectly complemented by the meal, which featured Mastelo, the traditional dish of Sifnos. The wedding cake followed custom as well, topped with a fig, a meaningful symbol in the Cyclades. An open bar allowed every guest to find their favorite drink as the evening unfolded.

As the sun slowly disappeared into the sea, the long dinner tables gradually transformed into a dance floor. Music began to play, the bouquet flew through the air, and the celebration turned into a lively Greek party. Under lantern lights and the warm island night, everyone danced together until the early morning hours.
