Dylan & Mirthe's Wedding on Syros Island

In the heart of Holland, Dylan and Mirthe’s love story began, rooted in the serene beauty of their homeland. Together, they dreamed of a wedding that would be as charming as their bond.

For their special day, Dylan envisioned a timeless celebration on the enchanting island of Syros, nestled in the heart of the Cyclades, where the echoes of his childhood summers lingered in the salty breeze, and where he would vow a lifetime of love to Mirthe.

The pre-wedding party was everything they had hoped for—full of life, joy, and unforgettable moments. Arriving by caique, a traditional Greek boat, the soon- to-be couple made their way to the shore, where the day unfolded at Ono beach bar, right by the sandy beach of Agathopes. The guests were swept up in the festive atmosphere, surrounded by laughter, music, and the refreshing embrace of the Aegean breeze.

After an unforgettable day filled with memories, the moment finally arrived for Dylan and Mirthe to exchange vows. The ceremony took place in the stunning Orthodox church of Agios Nikolaos in Hermoupolis, whose timeless architecture, with its soaring domes and graceful marble columns, was gently illuminated by elegant chandeliers, adding to the serenity of the day.

Mirthe, dressed in a breathtaking white gown adorned with delicate leaf-like embellishments, captured everyone’s attention as she walked down the aisle. Her veil, flowing softly behind her, seemed to dance in the air, making her look every bit the radiant bride.

The evening continued with a magnificent dinner at Ciel’s terrasse, by the stunning view of the sea and the soft glow of the setting sun. A cascade of champagne marked the perfect end to the night, as glasses filled in celebration of their love. With the backround of Vaporia area during the golden hour, Artemis a wonderful singer was there to add some music to this wonderful moment.
