Margot & Alexandre Wedding’s in Paros
 

Set against the timeless beauty of the Greek Cyclades, Alexandre and Margot’s wedding was a sun-soaked celebration on the island of Paros—a place close to the bride’s heart. Known for its whitewashed villages, crystal-clear waters, and laid-back charm, Paros is where Margot spent many of her childhood summers, and where her family still keeps a home. Therefore, it was the perfect setting for a weekend filled with celebration!

The festivities began the evening before at Mouragio, a charming taverna overlooking the water in Paroikia. Friends and family gathered to enjoy traditional Greek tapas in a relaxed, joyful setting. The décor featured vibrant lemons, olive branches, eucalyptus, and bougainvillea, creating a true Mediterranean atmosphere. The stationery was inspired by Cycladic architecture and tones of Aegean blue, capturing the essence of the islands.

The next morning, the wedding day began with the bride and groom getting ready separately, each surrounded by their loved ones. Once Margot was dressed in her flowing white gown—with a daring open back and a bodice delicately adorned with tiny pearls and translucent details that shimmered like morning light—a traditional greek live band accompanied her through the streets. Joined by her bridesmaids, she walked from her seafront apartment to the church, laughter filling through the narrow lanes of Paroikia.

As they reached the destination, the religious ceremony took place in a small Catholic chapel in the heart of the town, an intimate and meaningful setting for their vows. After their union, the newlyweds walked out of the chapel hand in hand, welcomed by the joyful cheers and applause of their guests waiting outside. The celebration spilled into the streets as loved ones embraced the couple, tossing olives leaves and sharing in the emotion of the moment.

After their union, everyone gathered at Monastiri Beach Restaurant for an unforgettable evening by the sea. The dinner was served family-style, bringing everyone together to share Greek flavors in a convivial setting. An open bar and a lively dance party carried the party into the night, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display over the water—a magical end to an extraordinary day.
